Knot necklace, diamonds and pearl, late 19th century, French work.
Centered with a knot motif entirely paved with old-cut diamonds and a tassel decorated with a mobile round white pearl (diam. 6.1 mm) and diamonds. The central diamond is 0.40 carats, in a setting of approximately 1.5 carats in total.
This piece of jewelry is an old 19th century brooch transformed into a necklace.
The frame of the knot motif is in 18 carat gold (750 thousandths) and silver and the diamond-cut convict link chain is in 18-carat (750 mm) white gold with a lobster clasp.
