- This black opal is simply fascinating and surprisingly rare. Sourced from Australia, the epicenter of fine opals, its vibrant shards of green and blue dance like the Northern Lights captured in gemstone form. It is exceptionally rare to find opals of this substantial size in vintage jewelry, making them a true collectible gem.
