This 14-karat gold charm features the Greek letters sigma and kappa stacked on top of each other and a pearl seat with seed pearls.
Dating from around 1910, this charm displays beautiful milgrain work and particular attention to detail. It pays a touching tribute to the Sigma Kappa sorority, founded in 1873 at Colby College, the first New England institution to admit women on an equal footing with men.
The charm measures 1/2" x 1/4", plus an additional 6 mm bail.
It weighs 0.86 grams.
It contains 18 natural seed pearls.
