René Cliquet was a Belgian medalist and sculptor known for his designs and meticulous craftsmanship, particularly in the creation of commemorative medals and medallions. His medals often depicted historical figures, members of royal families, and significant events, demonstrating his ability to combine art and history. One side depicts Grand Duke Felix and Grand Duchess Charlotte, while the other side depicts the Grand Duchess Joséphine-Charlotte and Grand Duke Jean.
