Brooch in solid 18-carat rose gold (750 thousandths) for the head, the tip of the tail, and the pin, illegible hallmarks, exempt from inspection.
French work from the early 19th century.
Body formed by braided hair, very finely chiseled head, adorned with a round cabochon eye of natural turquoise in a bezel setting.

Condition: Very good, with very slight signs of use. Checked/solidified/cleaned by my jeweler. This is a very rare collector's item, delicate and fragile, which has stood the test of time very well.
