Sublime ring dating from the 1970s, branded Andrew Clunn, renowned Master Jeweler trained under the legendary David Webb, emblematic figure of American fine jewelry.
Clunn was his right-hand man for twelve years, crafting pieces for a prestigious clientele – from Elizabeth Taylor to the Duchess of Windsor – before founding his own workshop on Madison Avenue in New York.
This ring embodies all the richness of its know-how: bold shapes, refined settings and absolute elegance of proportions.
Description of the jewel: Mounted in 18-carat yellow gold, this rare piece majestically showcases a natural, unheated cabochon ruby with a saturated red hue and superb varnish.
The stone, with generous dimensions (1.5 cm high, 1 cm wide, 6 mm thick), is framed by 62 round brilliant-cut diamonds, for a total of approximately 1.25 carats.
