The Land-Dweller: Rolex's new Horizon for Watches and Wonders 2025

At the Watches and Wonders 2025 show in Geneva, Rolex made an impression by presenting a series of new products, including the new collection Land-Dweller revealed for this second-hand. 

Land-Dweller: a new sport-chic icon branded Rolex

With the launch of the Land-Dweller, Rolex reinvents the concept of the sporty-chic watch with an integrated bracelet. The Land-Dweller draws its inspiration from historical models such as the Oysterquartz (1969) and the Datejust (1974), while adopting angular lines and an integrated Flat Jubilee bracelet with five solid links.

The case has been redesigned with a satin-finished caseband and a thickness of 9.7 mm. It incorporates a fluted bezel in white gold, set with trapezoid-cut diamonds for the jewelry versions. 

The textured dial features a laser-engraved honeycomb pattern, available in intense white (satin finish) or ice blue (exclusive to the platinum), enhanced with luminescent Chromalight indexes and openwork numerals at 6 and 9 o'clock.

A unique movement: the caliber 7135, a technical revolution

The Land-Dweller inaugurates the caliber 7135, a high-frequency (5 Hz) automatic movement with 32 patents, including 16 dedicated to its mechanism.

Equipped with a Dynapulse escapement that improves energy efficiency and precision (–2/+2 seconds per day, a very good average for an automatic watch). In addition, the movement offers a 66-hour power reserve, powered by a bidirectional rotor.

Finally, the Spiral Syloxi, made of silicon, combined with Paraflex shock absorbers, provides excellent shock resistance. Furthermore, the Land-Dweller is guaranteed to be water-resistant to 100 meters, with a transparent sapphire case back revealing the movement.

Depth of range and price according to materials

Lea Land-Dweller is available in 36 mm and 40 mm, in 3 colors: 

• Grey Rolesor (Oystersteel and white gold): Entry-level model with white dial and fluted bezel (from €14,450).

• 18ct Everose gold : Intense white dial, diamond bezel options (up to €90,850).
• platinum 950 : Exclusive edition with ice blue dial and integrated strap (from €59,800).
