GemGenève 2025: a century ofArt Deco

From May 8 to 11, 2025, Palexpo Geneva will host the 9th edition of GemGeneva, the international jewelry fair which has established itself as an unmissable event for professionals, collectors, designers, enthusiasts and lovers of precious stones and exceptional jewelry.

A unifying trade fair with an international dimension

GemGenève stands out for its hybrid approach, at the intersection of commerce, culture, and knowledge transfer. Founded by major industry players, the show aims to promote creativity, support new talent, and encourage the exchange of knowledge across generations and nationalities. The event aims to be both exclusive and accessible, cultivating a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere that encourages encounters and discovery around the jewelry industry.

For this 2025 edition, the show welcomes pmore than 250 exhibitors, including more than 200 international merchants, which will bring together 75 different nationalities. Among them, ngemstone dealers, experts in antique jewelry, Contemporary creators, artisans, independent houses, educational institutions and cultural foundations come together in 15,500 m² of exhibition space.

This year, pNearly 4,000 visitors are expected, confirming the global dimension and growing attractiveness of the show.

A rich and varied program

GemGenève offers:

• Thematic exhibitions major, with in 2025 the tribute to theArt Deco, with exceptional historical and contemporary pieces, a true manifesto of exceptional diamonds and natural pearls.
  
  
• Privileged meetings and exchanges : GemGenève remains a space for exchanges between professionals, collectors and amateurs, withConferences, round tables and workshops led by experts, addressing topics such as the history of jewelry, innovation, sustainability and the transmission of know-how.
  
  
• A program "Emerging talents" dedicated to young designers and emerging talents of the new generations, promoting the discovery of new names and the diversity of styles, to be admired at stands dedicated to them.
  
  
• Demonstrations by craftsmen on certain stands, as well as meetings with renowned professionals.

100 years ofArt Deco : a vibrant tribute

Each edition of GemGenève is distinguished by a major cultural exhibition, for 2025, the exhibition will be called “A Legacy of Timeless Elegance” was the celebration of the centenary of theArt Deco, artistic and stylistic movement that profoundly marked 20th century jewelry and which continues to fascinate collectors, designers and enthusiasts today. 

Visitors will be able to admire the bold geometry, refined symmetry and play of materials typical of theArt Deco with jewelry branded from large houses such as Cartier, Van Clee, Boucheron, Mauboussin... while discovering how this style still inspires today's designers.
