In the heart of Greece: Zolotas
Zolotas began his adventure in Athens more than 120 years ago as the official court goldsmith. It's his son, Xenophon Zolotas, who gave an international dimension to the brand in the 1950s, when he was Prime Minister of the country. Inspired by the methods of ancient artisans for working gold, Zolotas created jewelry modern using ancient forms such as bracelets snake-shaped arms, braided gold necklaces, cornucopias, wings of Hermes and even chiseled lions. This creativity has allowed the brand to experience great success.
Jewelry Zolotas : Greek myths revisited
The brand's artisanal know-how Zolotas is well known. Jewelry Zolotas are handcrafted using high quality materials, gold and precious stones. Each piece is designed to tell a story and to be passed down from generation to generation.
The brand Zolotas regularly revisits Greek myths, notably through its famous annual amulet. Although gold remains the house's flagship material, it is often associated with diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds, lapis lazuli and even tiger's eye. The brand's CEO and artistic director, Georges Papalexis, draws inspiration from the house's archives while adding his personal touch to create unique aesthetic pieces.
