Superb necklace, long Venetian mesh watch chain, in 18Kt yellow gold (eagle's head hallmark), decorated with an ogive-shaped slide, and a gauntlet holding a circular clasp allowing a pendant to be suspended.
French work from the 19th Century.

Condition: wear on the chain, very slight micro scratches on the gold parts, the clasp is probably not original (very slight color difference), see photos.
