Magnificent antique brooch in solid 18-carat yellow gold (750 thousandths), stamped with an eagle's head hallmark and a master goldsmith's lozenge hallmark, French workmanship. The pin is also in 18k yellow gold. The brooch is made up of four twisted cords in hollow fluted gold, stylizing a four-leaf clover. It is centered with a natural rose-cut diamond, shallow culet, with regular facets, claw-set on platinum.
