IWC Schaffhausen – 18-carat yellow gold (750) – IWC 89 in-house caliber – Circa 1970– Watch serviced with its original box.
This elegant vintage IWC (International Watch Co.) watch, produced around 1970, is powered by the famous IWC 89 in-house caliber, one of the most renowned manual movements in Swiss watchmaking for its robustness, precision, and longevity.
The round case in solid 18-carat yellow gold (750), with a diameter of 36 mm, features beautiful faceted lugs and retains its original snap-on case back. The case band is distinguished by subtle lateral teeth, a refined detail typical of IWC productions from this era. Case no. 1220091.
The domed plexiglass crystal is new, matching the vintage aesthetic of the model.
The silver original dial, never restored, features applied baton indices plated in gold and matching hands, with a central second hand. Slight, even and discreet oxidation spots are visible, natural witnesses to the passage of time and the authenticity of the watch.
The IWC 89 manual-winding mechanical movement (17 jewels, 18,000 A/h, power reserve approx. 44 h) has benefited from a complete overhaul by the Atelier des Tocantes (Paris).
A written one-year warranty is provided, valid until January 2027.
The watch is fitted with a new black ostrich leather strap (unsigned) and will be delivered with a gold-plated steel IWC buckle.
