Exceptional jewelry sale in Hong Kong

From 23 October to 6 November 2024, Christie's presented an exclusive online sale of exceptional jewellery in Hong Kong called "Magnificent Jewels". The auction featured 163 lots of remarkable quality, ranging from flawless diamond jewellery to exquisite coloured gemstones, both vintage and branded by major jewelry houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Harry Winston and even Tiffany & Co.
Impressive results
With a total of HKD 30,993,228 raised, this sale is a testament to the continued interest in exceptional jewellery. The enthusiasm for these unique pieces underlines not only their aesthetic value but also their role as an investment. Christie's continues to establish itself as a leader in showcasing these timeless treasures.
The jewelry sold in a wide range of prices. The most affordable lot was #2139 of the vintage white gold cufflinks, decorated with jadeite rim and brilliant diamonds in the center, which sold for HK$4,788 (€574.56).
The most expensive lot was number 2001: a solitaire shouldered in platinum set with a central pear-cut diamond weighing 9.73 carats of the maison Harry Winston, which reached a sale price of HKD 2,016,000 (€241,920).
