Trinity Wild: when Cartier reinvents its icon for its 100th anniversary

Launched in 1924, the collection Trinity symbolizes love under three pillars: family, friendship and marriage, but also embodies the spirit of the three brothers Cartier and their global influence through Paris, London and New York.

It quickly became a jewelry icon around the world, especially the ring Trinity which celebrated its centenary in 2024.

To celebrate its 100th anniversary, the Maison proposed a new collection, composed of square rings at the beginning of 2024, then organized global pop-up events, notably in the prestigious Design District (Miami) during Miami Art Week (which takes place at the same time as Art Basel Miami Beach) where it unveiled a "Trinity 100" (from December 4 to 8), an exhibition retracing the history of the famous collection Trinity, while presenting a new series of jewelry Trinity inspired by his love for wild animals, which we will present in this article.

 


An anniversary collection: Trinity Wild 

On December 1, 2024, Cartier unveiled a brand new limited collection of the Trinity, which was marketed worldwide from March 2025. 

There Maison has kept the classic structure of the original model, with its yellow, white and pink gold rings, which it has enhanced with diamonds and black lacquer to evoke the fur of the animals that have marked the rich history of Cartier, notably the panther, the tiger and the snake. These collections also exist in all-gold or fully paved versions.

 


The faces of Trinity Wild

To represent this new collection, the Maison chose five ambassadors:

  • Paul Mescal, Oscar-nominated Irish actor

  • JISOO, singer and pop icon of the group BlackPink

  • Yara Shahidi, American actress and producer

  • Jackson Wang, Chinese artist and founder of Team Wang

  • Labrinth, British singer-songwriter

They appear in a captivating film shot in the Camargue salt marshes, depicting different aspects of love and human connection. The campaign celebrates the values of unity and diversity embodied by the ring. Trinity since its creation in 1924.
