The inspirations of Sabbia : the imperfect beauty of the elements

The word "Sabbia"means"sand" in Italian, and it is this humble and poetic material that inspires the entire collection. Pomellato drew on the very essence of the earth and beaches to imagine jewelry that mimics the irregular and changing appearance of sand grains on the surface, giving a unique texture to each piece. In terms of shape and volume, the jewelry Sabbia are reminiscent of the lunar star, with circular paving and irregular reliefs echoing the craters.
