The most beautiful watches seen at the 2025 Met Gala

The 2025 Met Gala, New York's unmissable fashion and glamour event, once again established itself as a true showcase for Haute Horlogerie. Stars and designers competed on the blue carpet, sporting rare, sometimes never-before-seen timepieces that showcase the growing dialogue between watchmaking and celebrity. A look back at the most notable watches of this year's edition! 

Audemars Piguet watches seen at the 2025 Met Gala

Among the most prominent Houses, Audemars Piguet shone through the diversity and rarity of the pieces worn.

Olivier Rousteing, artistic director of Balmain, caused a sensation with a Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin entirely set with yellow sapphires, Wedding band spectacular between jewelry technicality and couture aesthetics.

The musician Shaboozey opted for a Royal Oak Selfwinding 37 mm in yellow gold with a turquoise dial, a pop and luminous version of the cult model.

Hailey Bieber chose the subtlety of a 1975 archive watch in white gold with an opal dial, a vintage piece that seduced with its organic elegance and unique character.

Kailand Morris, for his part, sported a Royal Oak set with gradient blue sapphires on rose gold, while Breanna Stewart displayed the power of a 41 mm Royal Oak Chronograph entirely paved with diamonds.

Serena Williams, and Simone Biles embraced the trend of mini watches, wearing the brand new 23mm Royal Oak Mini Frosted Gold a perfect blend of elegance and modernity.

Omega watches seen at the 2025 Met Gala

There maison Omega has also made its mark on the wrists of celebrities.

Nicole Kidman, Omega Ambassador, chose a vintage watch Ladymatic "Saphette" from 1969, combining gold with a black cord.

Colman Domingo And Tom Francis have displayed Unrivaled Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional in Moonshine™ Rose Gold, with a deep blue dial directly reminiscent of the marine world, these watches are exclusives not currently on the market and are sure to turn heads.

Barry Keoghan he also chose the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 42mm in Moonshine™ Gold, but this time in a version with blackened sub-dials, for an even more striking and modern contrast.

Patrick Schwarzenegger preferred the discreet elegance of the Aqua Terra Shades 38mm in Moonshine™ gold.

Justice Smith surprised by wearing a From City Mini Treasure 26mm, traditionally feminine.

The 2025 Met Gala was also notable for the presence of jewelry watches and exceptional pieces from other major brands. Notable models included the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface Small Seconds in rose gold and Milanese bracelet, praised for its monochrome elegance and textured dial. Pocket watches, a retro chic nod, have also made their appearance, confirming the return of this format in current watchmaking trends.. 

There Maison Tiffany & Co. also shone on the singer's wrist Doechii, who chose one Tiffany Eternity in yellow gold set with diamonds and mother-of-pearl.

Then, the creativity of Patek Philippe distinguished herself with theAquanaut Luce "Rainbow" in pink gold, mother-of-pearl dial and multi-colored setting, seen on the wrist of Ben Simmons.

Matt Damon opted for the sobriety of a Piaget Andy Warhol in rose gold with a black dial, highlighting the diversity of watchmaking choices on this year's blue carpet.

Finally, the Maison Cartier also made an appearance on the Watchmaking side, alongside the singer Lorde with a watch baignoire in white gold and diamonds.
