Rabanne x Arthus Bertrand collaboration: when fashion becomes jewelry
The collaboration between Rabanne and Arthus Bertrand marks an exceptional encounter between the art of jewelry and the bold vision of fashion. In homage to Rabanne's iconic creations, this collection introduces unique pieces from the know-how of the maison Arthus Bertrand.
A golden collaboration
Unveiled during Spring-Summer 2025 Fashion Week, this collection composed of 2 exclusive creations was praised for its sophistication and unparalleled craftsmanship, which combines the artistic director of the maison Rabanne, Julien Dossena, to the artistic director of the maison Arthus Bertrand Camille Toupet, who said: "In a perfect fusion of our two Houses, I immediately had the vision of the Rabanne pastille twisted into a medal".
Two unique pieces
The centerpiece of this collection available at the Rabanne boutique (avenue Montaigne): the Rabanne 1969 Bag was made with 371 18-carat gold medals, each branded Arthus Bertrand. This unique creation totals 300 hours of work: 200 hours of development as well as 100 hours of manufacturing. With a final price of €250,000, this variant of the 1969 Bag is debranded like the "most expensive bag in the world", is actually a wink to the one we call the "most expensive dress in the world": a model created by Paco Rabanne for Françoise Hardy in 1968, composed of gold and diamond tiles.
To go with the bag, Rabanne and Arthus Bertrand also imagine a medal in silver-gilt which twists the emblematic Rabanne pastille, calibrating 40 mm in width with a price of €690, available in their respective boutiques and on the internet.
