The inspiration for the Snake collection dates back to Ole Lynggaard's visit to Cairo in the early 1960s, where he was captivated by the allure of serpent motifs and crafted his first snake-inspired piece for his wife, Karin. Although the concept of a full collection lingered for decades, the Snakes Collection was officially launched only in 2013.
