Ole Bent Petersen (1938 - 1998)
Born in Denmark in 1938, Ole Bent Petersen trained at the Danish Jewelery College followed by a year of study in goldsmithing and design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He established his own workshop in Copenhagen in 1960, but also worked for Georg Jensen since 1978. His iconic designs were based on transforming everyday objects from his life into jewelry. Petersen is known for his unusual designs.
