Large vintage round pendant medal in white natural mother-of-pearl, with beautiful reflections, finely carved with the profile of a veiled Virgin on a delicately radiant background. Strapping and bail in solid 18-carat (750 thousandths) yellow gold, eagle's head guarantee hallmark and Master Goldsmith's diamond hallmark. Signed “BECKER” for Edmond Becker (1871-1971), who is a famous French sculptor, medalist, goldsmith and jeweler, rewarded many times for his know-how due to the finesse and quality of each of his creations. No engraving on the back.
