Pin cameo “ANGEL GABRIEL”
In 9k yellow gold, centered with a cameo on shell depicting the Angel Gabriel in profile on the right, finger raised. It is bezel-set in yellow gold and bordered by a foliage and chiseled frieze.
19th century period.
This cameo was inspired by an “Annunciation” by Guido Reni, painted in 1621, kept at the Pinacoteca di Fano.

THE cameo is very finely crafted, of good quality. It presents on the reverse, above the archangel's head, two small "hairs" caught in the veins of the shell. They are barely visible on the obverse.
The gold work is also of high quality.
