19th century Provence regional sleeper earrings
Pair of old sleeper earrings in solid 18-carat (750 thousandths) pink gold and silver, eagle's head guarantee hallmark and master goldsmith's diamond hallmark. Provençal regional French work from the 19th century. The trays feature a flower of Daisy centered with a light green faceted rhinestone set on a dome in silver.
Surrounding it, ten petals each set with two smaller green rhinestones. Split attachment system, which slips through the back of the ear.

Very good state. Light traces of use. Note a missing stone at the base of each buckle, the one placed at the junction with the setting. So in total 40 rhinestones for the two loops. The closures work well. This is a rare and lovely pair of romantic old sleepers with a story, sold in the condition of the photos.
