Rare antique ring in solid 18 carat (750 thousandths) pink gold and platinum Eagle's head guarantee mark and diamond-shaped master goldsmith's mark (partially erased when polishing the ring). French Belle Epoque work from the 1910s. Depicting a ribbon knot. In the center, an old-cut diamond and a genuine faceted ruby with a very culasse of a beautiful red color, both set by six claws framing a smaller bezel-set diamond. The loops of the knot are paved with 22 old-cut diamonds on platinum.
This ribbon ring is symbolic of attachment and love.
