Old ring in solid 18 carat 750 thousandths yellow gold and platinum, horse's head guarantee hallmark in use between 1838 to 1919, plus owl and mascaron hallmarks affixed by the Guarantee Office and master goldsmith's diamond hallmark. The number "3273" is engraved into the ring. French Victorian Art Nouveau work circa 1900. The openwork ring head is centered with a prong-set old-cut diamond, surrounded by two crossed volutes each decorated with six rose-cut diamonds.
