Pompadour ring Art Deco in platinum majority and in solid 18 carat (750 thousandths) white gold, dog's head and eagle's head guarantee hallmarks, plus a Master goldsmith's diamond hallmark. French work.
Rectangular ring head with rounded sides centered on a fine aquamarine in a lovely beaded bezel setting, with a double surround. The first entourage is in platinum finely carved and the second is grain-set with fourteen small rose-cut diamonds. The kitten is bordered below by an openwork basket, supported by palm leaves.
