An old work of superior quality. Late 19th century Naples. 14 carat gold (touchstone tested). An old hallmark is present on the hooks. They are in perfect condition. A typical Grand Tour souvenir.

We present to you a lovely large pair of antique cameo earrings depicting a dancing "Menade" (follower of the Bacchus wine festivals) with a Cupid and many roses around. At the top a head of Cupid. They have been very carefully hand carved by a skilled artist and are full of precious detail.
