18 carat (750 thousandths) rose gold photo medallion pendant with ram's head hallmark used between 1819 and 1838 and diamond hallmark of master goldsmith. French work from the first half of the 19th century. It is round, identical on each side. Made up of a gold ring holding two transparent crystal panes. The pendant opens thanks to a side hinge and allows you to insert a photo, a lock of hair, a lucky charm.
Height with bail: 2.7 cm - Diameter: 2.25 cm - Total weight: 3.90 g
Good condition. It works well and clips securely. Note on the gold part on the side of the opening part, deformations of the frame with a small lack of material. One window is scratched, the other almost not. Sold in the condition of the photos, with its imperfections, it is approximately 200 years old. It is an authentic jewel of old feeling, elegant and customizable at will.
