Antique round medal pendant in solid 18 carat (750 thousandths) rose gold, eagle's head hallmark. French Art Nouveau work from the very beginning of the 20th century. It celebrates the month of December with the openwork inscription 'DECEMBER' and is decorated with a fine chiseled lucky mistletoe motif (the emblematic flower of the month of December) with leaves added in contrasting green gold. Centered with a round cabochon of fine ruby set in a closed setting. No engraving on the reverse.

Very good condition. Minimal signs of use on the gold parts. The ruby is new. Pendant checked/cleaned/polished by my jeweler.
