Large oval pendant medal mounted in solid 18-carat white gold 750 thousandths, eagle's head guarantee hallmarks and master goldsmith's hallmark. French work from the first half of the 20th century branded CHAUVINIST. In natural white mother-of-pearl originally enhanced with a blue dye, it is sculpted with a beautiful relief of a bust of the Virgin Mary with a halo in closed-set profile. No engraving or color on the back.
