1940s TOPAZ NEST COCKTAIL RING
Ring in 18k yellow gold, centered with a large and beautiful round faceted golden topaz weighing approximately 12 cts. It is held by claws decorated with fleur-de-lis and rests on a rolled, openwork ribbon. The shoulder is made up of two gold fans.
Around 1940.
French work, maker's mark possibly HGH, Habrard & Fils, jewelers in Valence.
Dimensions of the stone: 14.13 – 13.91 x 9.27 mm approx.
Ring size : 54 (editable).
Gross weight: 6.4 g (18k gold – 750/1000 – eagle’s head hallmark).
Very beautifully crafted and very original ring. Very nice work down to the small details, since even the claws have been worked on. The stone sits perfectly on the gold ribbon, giving the impression of resting on a cushion. Small scratches on the ring, the part on the inside of the hand.
Topaz has a very beautiful golden – honey color which blends perfectly with the color of gold. A few small scratches on the table, but nothing very marked. She is very clean.
