Chains are making a comeback
The oldest piece of jewellery in the world attracts attention with imposing pieces. Whether worn alone or stacked, adorned with diamonds or made of solid gold, the XXL links are revealed around necks and wrists.
Hermès and the timeless Anchor Chain
The famous Chaîne d'Ancre, one of the house's first jewels, was designed in 1938 by Robert Dumas after a walk along the quays of a port in Normandy. Upon observing carefully, he was struck by the purity and elegance of the links of the chain connecting a boat to its anchor. He immediately sketched the design in his travel diary. Thus the bracelet was born Chaîne d'Ancre.
Dinh Van, the precursor
The Link Dinh Van finds its inspiration in the famous Place de l'Opéra Garnier in Paris, where the designer used to pass every morning. He succeeded in creating a new motif, rectangular and with rounded corners. Since then, this square link has become a key element of the dinh van collections.
Pomellato, the master of the art of jewelry.
For many decades, Italian jewelers have perfected the art of chain making. In 1967, Pomellato was born and stands out with its unique style through four collections, including the collection Iconica. The bracelets, necklaces and earrings in rose gold reinvent the "Forçat" mesh by varying the proportions of the rings, superimposing the rows on a choker, and mixing opulence and minimalism.
