This quote is from a much longer 1890 work by French poet Rosemonde Gérard called "The Eternal Song." The stanza from which this part of the poem is translated reads: "You see, every day I love you more. Today more than yesterday and much less than tomorrow."
The reason for its success is therefore explained by its symbolism, which indefinitely affects each generation of lovers. Thousands of fans discovered this medal and translated the reference to this extract from a 19th century love poem “+ than yesterday and - than tomorrow”.
