Citrine, stone of the month of November
Citrine, a fragment of sunshine on your skin
Just like amethyst and rock crystal, citrine belongs to the quartz family. This can be found on the American continent, notably in mines in the United States, Brazil or Bolivia but also in Madagascar.
Whether lemon yellow, pale, orange, cognac, champagne, golden or Madeira, this stone is said to have many virtues. Indeed, it is called the stone of the 13th year of marriage and, as if to bring a little light to an often gray month, birthstone of the month of November.
Because of this sometimes orange color, it can sometimes be confused with imperial topaz. Easy to maintain, it is best to avoid limescale deposits. Even if it inspires a beautiful sunny day, exposing it to high temperatures risks affecting it.
