Sticking to the last century, the brooch was originally a trendy piece from the 1920s, during the period Art Deco. It is known as a sign of wealth, the perfect decorative jewel to dress up an elegant outfit.
Later in the 80s, they will be put back in the spotlight in an imposing way thanks to Thierry Mugler, Chanel, Versace, Christian Lacroix and Yves Saint Laurent… but will become discreet from the 90s.
100 years after the start of the Roaring Twenties, these famous jewels with designs as different as each other, whether discreet or sophisticated, with pearls or diamonds, have been making a comeback for a few seasons now.
We find them at luxury houses such as in the 2022 cruise collection of Louis Vuitton, at Saint Laurent, and Gucci but also on our favorite stars like Kate Middleton, Lady Gaga, Jared Leto or even the famous couple Beyoncé and Jay Z during the About campaign Love by Tiffany & Co.
