1. Who is 58 Facettes ?
The Company 58 FACETTES (hereinafter “ 58 Facettes "), operates a website (hereinafter " the Platform ”) as well as mobile applications (hereinafter “ Mobile Applications 58 Facettes ") allowing individuals and professionals (hereinafter " Buyers ") to be put in contact with professional and private sellers (hereinafter " The Sellers ") for the online purchase of products relating to the world of second-hand jewelry and second-hand watches (hereinafter " Products »).
This Platform is accessible to all Buyers under the url www.58facettes.fr (hereinafter “ 58facettes.fr ”) and Mobile Applications 58 Facettes via smartphone app stores.
58 Facettes allows Buyers to subscribe to a commercial guarantee via a Maintenance and Protection service for second-hand jewelry products (excluding watches) purchased from 58 Facettes (purchase value of €10,000 maximum) called Protection Plus (hereinafter “ Protection Plus " Or " the Service »), covering Damage to the Product (destruction, damage, deterioration of the Product, hereinafter “ Damages ") and the maintenance of the Product (reconditioning in the context of its normal wear and tear (polishing, rhodium plating, repair), without the Product having suffered any damage or fall, hereinafter " Interview »). This commercial guarantee is in addition to the legal guarantee of conformity. The Service does not cover loss or theft of the Products.
2. Description of Protection Plus
The Protection Plus Service offers two “Maintenance and Protection” packages for jewelry items (excluding watches) purchased on the Platform (purchase value of €10,000 maximum), which contain:
· Protection Plus 12 months:
o Damage or falls
o Repair / maintenance
· Protection Plus 24 months:
o Damage or falls
o Repair / maintenance
Each formula only covers one Product at a time.
The plan you select is confirmed in the confirmation email sent to you when you purchase Protection Plus.
3. How Protection Plus works
has. Purchase of the Service
You can purchase the Protection Plus Service if you are an adult (minimum 18 years old) and you purchase a second-hand jewelry product (excluding watches) from 58 Facettes (purchase value of €10,000 maximum).
The purchase of the Service is made on the site www.58facettes.fr or on the Mobile Applications 58 Facettes at the same time as the purchase of your Product.
b. Duration of Service
The Service starts as soon as we have confirmed its purchase by sending the confirmation email to your email address. In this email, you will find the start date of the Service.
The Service has a duration of 12 or 24 months depending on the selected formula, after this period, the Service automatically ends.
c. Waiver of Service
You have 30 days from the purchase of the Service to cancel it without reason or justification.
You can cancel it by simply requesting it by email at info@58facettes.com.
You will be reimbursed for all amounts already paid within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of your request for waiver by our services.
d. Termination of Service
Option 1: By operation of law:
- If your Product is replaced by a gift card, the Service is no longer of any use and will automatically end on the replacement date. In this case, the full payment for the Service will remain ours.
Option 2: At the initiative of 58 Facettes :
- If fraud or attempted fraud is discovered during the Purchase
Option 3: At your initiative:
- If your Product is lost or destroyed (and if this does not involve the Protection Plus Service), the Service is therefore no longer of any use. You therefore have the possibility of cancelling it at any time if you find yourself in such a situation. You will then be reimbursed for the portion of the payment of the Service corresponding to the time for which the risk is no longer covered, unless Damage has been covered or Maintenance carried out under the current Service year.
You can request the termination of your contract by simply sending an email request to info@58facettes.com.
e. Cost of Service
The cost of the Protection Plus Service is calculated based on the selected plan and the purchase value of the Product.
This cost is communicated to you prior to the purchase of the Service and is reminded to you in the confirmation email after the purchase.
f. Payment for the Service
Payment for the Protection Plus Service is made in one go, all taxes included, at the time of purchase of the product on the site www.58facettes.fr or on the Mobile Applications 58 Facettes.
4. What is covered, what is excluded
Your Product is covered for a period of 12 months or 24 months depending on the plan you chose when you made your purchase.
You can only benefit from coverage by the Service each year for one payment, either for Damage or falls, or for Repair/Maintenance.
You can only benefit once per Product from compensation via a gift card of an amount equal to the replacement value.

i. Damage or falls
Your Product is destroyed or damaged and can no longer be worn as is.
If your Product is repairable, we will proceed as a priority with a repair via our Workshops (or via a Workshop selected by you, subject to acceptance of a quote by our services). In this context, if a stone must be replaced, the cost of the replacement stone is not covered by the Protection Plus Service.
If your Product is not repairable (total destruction or repair cost exceeding the Replacement Value), we will offer you compensation by gift card usable on the site www.58facettes.fr or on the Mobile Applications 58 Facettes, of an amount equal to the replacement value.
The replacement value is calculated as follows: weight of precious metal X price of said metal on the date of Purchase of the Product on 58 Facettes.
Any stones are not taken into account in calculating the replacement value.
In the case of a non-repairable Product for which you accept compensation by gift card, the Product automatically becomes our property.
ii. Repair / Maintenance
Your Product requires a visit to the Workshop to be repaired in the event of normal wear and tear (polishing, rhodium plating, repair), without it having suffered any damage or been dropped.
b. What is excluded
The following cases and items are not covered under the Protection Plus Service:
- When the purchase value on 58 Facettes of the jewelry product is greater than or equal to €10,000 (ten thousand euros) (the Service is not offered in the Purchase process in this case)
- When the Product is a watch product (the Service is not offered in the Purchase process in this case)
- When Damage, Maintenance or Repairs require the replacement of a stone. In this case, the cost of the replacement stone is not covered.
- When the Damages are due to intentional fault
- When you are unable to report the circumstances giving rise to the Damage
- When it comes to a case of loss of the Product or theft
- When the Damage has occurred to thesecond-hand of civil or foreign war or insurrection or acts of terrorism or confiscation by the authorities
- When the Damage occurred during the use of the Product by a person other than the Buyer, or falling under the civil liability of a professional carrier
- When the physical expertise notes a condition of the Product that cannot be justified by the circumstances described by the Buyer during the declaration
- Accessories (box, certificate and others) of the Product
- When the Damage is due to non-compliance with the instructions for use of the Product or those due to any modification initiated by the Buyer of the original characteristics of the Product
- When the Damage is the result of an intervention or has occurred during an intervention by the Buyer or by a Third Party on the Product, such as an attempt at repair, modification or any attempt at transformation of the Product
- Where the Buyer incurs costs without our prior consent
5. Reporting Damage or Requesting Maintenance
You must report Damages within 5 business days of the date they occur.
We will ask you for the circumstances of the Damage, photos and any documents necessary to process your request.
As a reminder, you must not carry out the repair yourself or entrust the repair to a third party without our written agreement.
You can request Maintenance of your Product at your convenience, once per year of subscription to the Service.

Once your request has been received, our teams will get back to you quickly to confirm support and provide you with details of the next steps.
Depending on the support required and your geographical location, we will offer you either to drop off or send us (at our expense) your Product so that it can be checked by our experts and then repaired by our workshops before being returned to you, or to obtain a quote for a service carried out by a professional near you. In the latter case, our teams will confirm in writing that the quote received has been properly taken into account and you will be reimbursed upon presentation of the invoice once the service has been carried out. In the event that the quote is not accepted by our teams, we will contact you to offer you other solutions.
